This is a question I get asked almost as often as the one above. I think it is just one word, but it really means, “Is it really worth it?” I see many new construction homeowners asking this question, and the answer is no.
But I do want to address it.
For a while now, I have been in contact with a number of homeowners that are asking this question, mainly because their new construction homes are in a different city where they have no prior connection to the local area.
Why are these homeowners asking this question? Because after all, that’s how you get a new construction home. New construction homes are built in a new city, then they are sold to a local homeowner who is an associate with the real estate agent in the area. The first thing they ask is the amount of time it takes to get a new construction home from the builder.
I have two suggestions to help you answer this question. Use the Google Maps API to show you where the home is built and then ask the homeowner how long it took to get the home. The other is to ask the homeowner the amount of money they spent on the home. The amount that was spent is directly related to the price of the home and the number of rooms in the home.
Since Google Maps can show you where the home is built, you can see a very clear correlation between the amount of time it took to get a new construction home and the amount of money the homeowner spent on the home. A couple of weeks ago, I sent my friend an email to see how long it would take to actually install a new home in our village. He had to spend about $1,500 to get it installed. Now, this is not your average homeowner.
Google Maps is a great tool for that reason. It displays the number of rooms in your home and tells you the current location. It also has a great overview of where the home is built and of the area that it’s built in. Google Maps is great for making it a better place for people to talk about the home and to see how the home is built.
