This time of year, the weather is getting warmer and the nights are getting shorter. The nights can be really chilly in many parts of the country, and it is common for temps to drop below zero. When temperatures drop below zero, we tend to lose our usual spring and fall color palette.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.
The thing is, you don’t have to remember to wear warm outerwear every day of the year. You don’t have to wear a scarf or anything so long as you don’t run around without it. We’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we are not even aware of our own behavior, then we no longer control it we control us.
If you’re an average person with a tendency towards autopilot, then you definitely know your habits. For instance, you might think that when you’re on autopilot for so long that you forget are on autopilot. But you don’t do that either! Your ‘life’ consists of your habits, routines, impulses, and reactions.
We do that by watching our lives, routines, impulses, and reactions. We dont have to worry about our habits if we dont have to worry about them. Because we have to.
The problem is that sometimes we forget how much our autopilot habits are like our habits. It’s not all that uncommon to find ourselves in situations that we have no reason to be in, but then we don’t remember why. For instance, I remember spending a couple days with my friends in Amsterdam right after finishing this game (a 2-in-1), and then I went to bed. The next morning I woke up at home, and I had no idea why.
Now as we are learning about what it feels like to be on autopilot, we have to find a way to control our habits. To do this we have to make sure our habits are as good as they can possibly get. It’s not uncommon to find yourself in a situation that you can’t control, but it doesn’t mean you don’t have to.
